THE FUN WE HAVE....

... while spreading the word of awareness on Prostate Cancer!!

Today was another activity for our Prostate Cancer Support Group to be out there and 'spread" the word re awareness for this cancer, at the Hawkesbury 2015 Hobby & Craft Show.

Another absolutely stunning winters day, and took a few pics of the exhibits and people, but liked this one of Brett Smith with one of his drones. He had about four different ones, but the one of interest was the first in extras. Then go to the second extra shot to see the goggles you put on. These allow you to see from the camera in the drone as if you were flying it!  I tried them on as he operated it and felt like I was in a cockpit flying it.
If that was not enough, it has an in built GPS, and on activating the system automatically activates where it is at that time and sets that position as a "home destination"! 

Set it in motion, just sit back in your chair looking into the goggles and fly it where you wish ..... and up to he said 7 kilometers!!??

Oooops... lost sighting of it for some reason, easy, just push the home button, and it flies right on back to you.

As well he had his Jet Dragster...a real fire breathing turbine powered afterburning jet dragster! 
Try and catch it.... well you will need to be at around 230 klm per hour, he holds a national and World record presently for "RC Turbine thrust" powered car. Check the other extra pics.

Sometimes it can be fun "spreading the word".....
