Enhancement or eyesore

This is the new seating area in the centre of Oban. Cot a ridiculous amount of money andis running very behind. As you can see the tourist season is here but this is not yet open. And there will be no seats as the council have run out of money for this budget.

The glass panels are bespoke made by a local (I think) artist.

I had thought I wouldn't like it at all but in reality it looked not too bad, The jury is out until it is open. I am currently staying in Oban for a few days as the beginning of my summer holiday.
