Not really sure what happened, but like I just felt like a fish out of water today, didn't have that "all-American" feeling, oh the beer, the BBQ, the "proud to be American" self satisfaction and 'patriotic' music was definitely most plentiful along with the bikinis and tank-tops masquerading as flags, they were in evidence as well.

No, the "atmosphere" was seriously all the minions at Fox News could have asked for, up to and including the (sorry about the following description) Numb-Nuts 'campaigning' for the pathetic Donald Trump

Is he - honestly - what's become of the country my uncle and the thousands of others, who with him, died for, on the beach at Iwo Jima - I sort of doubt it -

I don't know, today just seemed sort of vacant really, like the sum didn't quite add up to the effort behind the parts if you know what I mean, it was almost like I was experiencing some sort of episode from the twilight zone

Everything that was "supposed, and or expected" to be there was there in spades (as it were) yet it felt so plastic, so 'pretend', so (gasp) "Marin"

On a lighter note, when She arrived, this afternoon, to watch the fireworks, She was all atwitter, her Lewis will be on the pole tomorrow
