St. Fermin's Parade of the Giants

Pamplona was beginning its festival and we got caught up in a very long stream of dancing Giants.

'The present cabezudos in use were built in 1890 by one Félix Flores. Some of kilikis and zaldikos are from the last century while the rest date from this century.'

All very good natured. Just finished meal at the harbour in La Rochelle.. Lots of kids and lovely family feel.

Tomorrow the ferry home.
