Appreciating life

Yesterday I lost one of my best mates. We were soldiers together. We shared a room, drinks, ups and downs. We stood shoulder to shoulder when we carried our friends coffin. I would've done anything for him and he for me. So today I spent the day with my wife appreciating the time we have together.
R.I.P my friend.
