Banded Demoiselle

After the thunderstorms during the early hours it turned into another hot and sticky day.  
I spent some time on the river  bank this afternoon and the breeze off the water was lovely and cooling.    I was pleased to see several of the Damselflies on the river weed and also a Dragonfly too, he was so quick, there was no chance of a picture of him.
