Peruvian lily

Sorry folks that it's now three flowers in a row for blips - they are looking at their best at the moment though and there is Wimbledon on the TV!  This is an Alstroemeria or Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas.  I think I like the last name best.  I took three photos, one with raindrops this morning, one in full sunshine and the one above in dappled light which I liked best. 

We've had beautiful summer weather this last week,  perfect for tennis.  I found this quote about Summer from an unknown author which summed it up:
