Angels and devils

Norwich Lord Mayor's celebration today.  A mish-mash of street entertainment, fun fair, a procession with floats (I'm giving that a miss) and fireworks late this evening.  I had a mooch around people-watching and was hugely impressed by some street art in one of the underpasses and incredibly moved by an exhibition entitled 'War and Peace' curated by a Russian artist Genady Ivanov who lives in Norwich.  There's a link to it here.

The installation of boots and shoes you see as an extra was created by my friend Alex.  Each pair represents a person who was killed as a direct result of war. She is incredibly talented and very lovely too.
