Early Morning Horse

After the last few days of little or no walks for the dogs - I bit the bullet and went out early (just after 6 a.m.)!

It was quite fresh after all the rain the night before coupled with a very heavy dew.

The sun was up and beginning to get warm. Some mist about in the woods which gave some nice sunrays - sadly no tripod to hold the camera still for the long exposure needed and I got some very blurry shots, sadly discarded.

We disturbed this horse whilst he was having his morning munch! I like the way the sun was just lighting him on one side.

We walked back across a path which is covered in waist high grass and we got absolutely soaked - the dogs looked like they had had a bath and water was going through my trousers, down my legs and into my boots - very squelchy and I had to stop and tip the water out. Good fun though!
