Deer Country

Many of the roads around the district here are lined by deer fencing; farming deer for their velvet is big business in this part of South Canterbury.

After a cold and frosty start, It's been a sunny day today, giving me the opportunity to get outside and deal to a couple of jobs. After last week's frozen pipes, I thought it would be a good chance to get some of the pipes from the water tanks re-lagged. Here's hoping it wards off future freezes. We're forecast more snow mid-week, which could be an early test...
