Poppy

I have had a great photo day today. One where there seems to have been an abundance of things to shoot. I have however been trying to figure out how to merge 3 photos into 1 to absolutely no avail. I havent got photoshop have just downloaded a version of photoshop in a vain attempt to try and figure it out but I clearly need a huge manual along the lines of "photoshop for technophobes" in order to figure that one out. You cannot merge on iphoto so that is no help.......any pointers gladly welcomed as I am utterly hopeless with stuff like that.
Anyhow, as my merged photo never worked and an awful lot of todays pics that I liked are of my beautiful wee B (and I fear may be overdoing the family portraiture) I resorted to one of the poppy pics I took this morning. They have just burst to life in the past day or two and are so huge and vibrant and colourful. Why then, you may ask, did I chose to post a B&W as opposed to the colour version? Well I felt that the detail was lost in all the extravagance of colour offered up by these wonderful specimens. I may be wrong. You can view it in myblipfolio
