Infiorata

Infiorata is celebrated ten weeks after Easter on the Sunday following Corpus Christi. I don't know much about it but part of the celebrations are to make floral patterns and "trails" around the towns and particularly outside of chuches. This is one of the best I saw and was outside S. Nicolò in Scheggino. They are made of rose petals and other flowers eg genista and also fennel leaves.
