Apple Pie........!

Or rather...what's left of it....!
I made this pie late this evening.....whipped up some fresh cream and it was delicious......
I was delighted it turned out alright....
As the pastry didn't quite go to plan!!!
It was a 'Sweet Pastery' recipe where I was supposed to beat together butter & sugar then beat in the egg and stir in the flour.......but I'd bunged in the sugar and egg together then realising my mistake had to add the butter ....best it up quickly and hope for the best!!
I then added the flour and got a by soft dough which I had to wrap in cling film and put in the fridge....
It was also a challenge to roll it out and get it into the dish .....!
But it was worth it ?...it tastes really nice and I think I'll probably be making some more...
Another lovely day today but I think there might be some rain on the way......
