Worth the scratches!

This summer weather is odd. Watched the weirdest lightening I have ever seen last night behind the clouds. Today it has been cooler and then wet.

After a couple of showers the sun came out so I drove up to a field where there were some poppies hoping to get some nice shots of them. Unfortunately the poppies were mainly gone or battered by the rain. I climbed over the fence and scratched my ankles to pieces, watching the sun set and snapping away.

Quite pleased with my efforts though, worth the scratches and bites I got!
