Garden Design

There is an approach to garden design which involves scale drawings and squiggly bits on graph paper.  This is admirable.

Another approach to garden design is to put a plant in the ground and, on a nearby seat, look at it to make sure it is in the right place.  It can take some time but that's OK.

We have adopted the latter approach with our rock garden.
