On the other bench

This week has been our busiest training week since I started my current job, with four different courses running. The mood has been upbeat and I'm thrilled to bits that each course has recruited enough trainees to run.

Since I'm not teaching any of them I've spent the last three days taking pictures of woodworking tools and writing my final course (Carpentry Hand Skills). I hope it will be taught once before both my and the carpentry tutor's jobs disappear in the adult education cuts coming in next week's budget and I hope that somehow funding will be found for the other materials I've written to continue to be taught.
