Drifting Along
A lovely visit to the beautiful Loch of Lowes today.
4 hours of just sitting and watching.
I squeezed in chance for a blether with a former teacher of mine who insisted in introducing me to everyone and telling stories about me...
The only other people in the hide for any length of time were a lovely couple from Northern Ireland (with BIG Nikon lenses!) - turned out we were tenuously linked via a good friend..who is French and lives in America!
What a small world we live in.
The main reason for my visit was to see the amazing ospreys and their 3 youngsters.
There was certainly plenty osprey activity and the deer were providing great entertainment too.
Red squirrels, woodpeckers, an abundance of smaller birds...
However, I do love the grace and beauty of grebes....
