What a storm!

The drive back from the theatre was spectacular and really quite exciting! We could see the lightning all around us for most of the journey back to Fi's house and then we dropped down the hill into the most extraordinary hailstorm I have ever encountered! The hailstones were so big that we had to take shelter under a closed filling station canopy - AWESOME! Then of course there the flooding ensued. Tom and I made it safely home but not until about 1.30am. What a day!
