An ancient one
This old, and very large driftwood has taken up residence at the Dungeness Spit in Northern Washington. It's a National Wildlife Refuge, and the spit has to be vacated at 9. The sunset was at 9:12 tonight. The guard said it's all about the birds there, not about people and sunsets. Well, there were other places to see the sunset, so it was ok. Tomorrow we travel to a place called La Push on the Olympic Peninsula coast, and spend the Holiday weekend there.
