Fine fettle

Having spent the night in Kingman, the hotelier convinced us to retrace our steps and drive through the 115 degree desert, up the Black Mountains and into the former mining town of Oatman.  I'm pleased she did as it was one of the most scenic drives I've ever experienced.  The wee man was in great spirits too 
"Did you see that, Nikki?", exclaimed the wee man
"It's rocks." said Mum
"You can take a picture, Grandma.  Take a picture of that rock there", pointing to a small rock on the side of the road, while a majestic view can be seen from the opposite window.

From there we drove along Route 66 (the right way) through Sligman, arriving in Williams in time for another quick swim before crashing out for the night.
