Gotta focus.....

There has been much dark muttering and plotting in Bruntsfield of late.

One of the big supermarket chains (let us, for the sake of argument, call them Sainsco) has taken over a site previously occupied by an independent deli.

The local 'antis' are outraged, utterly convinced that this A Bad Thing, and that the wee shops which make Bruntsfield unique are going to be killed off by the giant.....but having been thoroughly nosey had a look this afternoon, the prices seem pretty high to me. I think the local butcher, baker et al, can relax.

Mind you, I did get a load of Sweet William for only three quid. (I wonder if it's impossible to get cheap flowers in focus? I tried five times and then gave up.....)
