Water and Light
Out into the 95 F / 35 C day, our last full one here, and by mutual consent we returned to Ecliptic Brewing, where we'd enjoyed a superb lunch and beer on Tuesday, but I'd not written about it that day because my iPad had a problem and typing on my phone is not my idea of a pleasurable pasttime.
What I'm mostly eagerly anticipating about being at home again, apart from the lower temperatures -- still high for Bellingham -- is the freedom a full-size computer and keyboard give me. For now, I will just say that the two lunches we had at Ecliptic win my "best meals eaten out in Portland" award and the beers were excellent, too.
My beer today, their UltraViolet Blackberry Sour, came in an 8-ounce glass by my request, as it was on the strong side and I didn't want to fall asleep during lunch. Water, however, can be imbibed copiously with no deleterious effects, especially in the current temperatures, and with the addition of random bits of sunshine, provided me with a photographic playground today!
(It doesn't take much to amuse me...)
