Two warm days and a thunderstorm...

...and a trip to Chatsworth today with our visitors. The caption was almost "beg, stole or borrowed" as I forgot my bag with phone, purse & camera in this morning, so had to borrow their iPhones in order to take a few pictures to record the day ( lovelupins take note - not just the memory card, the whole camera...).
Lovely day out, celebratory lunch at the Cavendish restaurant ( Jane has recently retired ), and a walk up to the folly for views of the surrounding area. This is an aqueduct that carries water to the cascade from the waterfall above - in working order, but looking slightly the worse for wear!
Got caught in a downpour on the mile walk back to the car - but we weren't downhearted in or dampness...
