Bucharest

We arrived. The journey was good. The arrival was not so great. Trying to get the shuttle bus was taxing to say the least and all the airport staff were rude and unhelpful. The journey here in the bus was uninspiring especially as one of the 1st thing the drover said to us was "This country is a sh*t country"!
However once we got to the hotel and met up with Phil's family things started to improve.
We walked into the old town which was really nice, maybe too touristy for some but there was a real buzz. We went to a Lebanese restaurant it was some of the nicest food I have had for a while and we were treated to some fiddle playing and belly dancing.
The adventure starts tomorrow we are off to the country.
