OH CRUMBS!

I like to bake if friends are coming - but it was just too hot today so it had to be shop bought biscuits.  Which is a shame, really, as these two are among my favourite young women.  We used to work together and I learned so much from them both.  Now we share much more than work - family news, hopes, fears, new ventures.   

Meanwhile the FCG hung out with the Professor.  Who knows what they got up to.  

Our extended family has grown this week - a couple of new girls have arrived.  Hoping to highlight them here shortly. 

In other news, a fruit cage arrived today.  After years of home made efforts with bamboo and cable ties I am hoping that this effort will stay up for many years and save work - but first to erect the ******* thing.  Glad the rain arrived in the evening - I really couldn't be bothered to start the assembly.
