Best laid plans....

Tried to come home from work early today to catch up on some much needed sleep. The Dopski was also in need of an early night after two lateish evenings herself.

I put the washing on a quick cycle and made tea. We ate it. The Dopski had her programmes on and Ernie jumped up onto my belly for a snuggle.

I promptly fell asleep - d'oh.

An hour and a half after The Dopski should have been having her early night, I woke up and got her into bed.

I then returned downstairs to clean up the flooded kitchen where she had attempted to make herself a drink instead of waking me up :/

When feeding Bert and Ernie, I noticed the washing machine and remembered that I also needed to dry the clothes before tomorrow - what a complete dingbat. I am now trying to stay awake until the drier has finished doing it's thing.

I'm too tired to even think about how much of a bad Mumsie I have been :(
