Kev's Castle..
..after yesterdays heatwave of 26 degrees, it was still 19 this morning. Gradually dropping during the day (15 at lunchtime, and now only 14) as did the mist, I think it's fair to say today has been dull.
Spent a few hours feeding the midges this morning, while I weeded the parsnip patch, and again while I was out taking this shot.
Been trying to get hold of camera club members today to see who would be about for tonight's meeting. Turns out most are ill, or on holiday. Would have been just me and Croftcrafts if I hadn't cancelled it..
Been phoning round making enquiries about rosettes, my music thingy, and trying to find out how much it will cost to get the cylinders in the changing rooms serviced. Only thing sorted is the price for rosettes..
This is Kev's Castle. Kev was a lovely man who enjoyed his short life. He jumped out of planes, he paraglided, he dived, and he climbed and swung about on ropes. He died earlier this year, and in his memory, his friends and family have raised money by doing some of these things themselves. This castle is the first of a few items bought from the money raised in his memory..
