hovering in the garden

today has been rather too hot for my liking , although I do prefer it hot than cold. Was pleased to capture this hoverfly actually 'hovering' around my gaura flowers as they are usually far too fast for me.  An early blip from me so I can spend the evening lounging around rather than taking photos!
