fisherman's tales

When we booked this holiday I wanted to stop in a boutique hotel but they only had 2 nights available. I took them and found our current hotel for the 5 previous nights. Today is moving day and we weren't all that excited about leaving this small peace of heaven. The new hotel is less than 10 minutes away in the next bay, Marina Grande, which bizarrely is much smaller.

Luckily we love it and it is a real contrast to the first place. Modern bright and looking over a tiny fishing port with a totally different relaxed Italian family feel to it. 

The shot of two locals having a chat with the small fishing boats behind them is so typical of the new place. The pier in the background was the restaurant we went to for yet another superb meal.

In extras is part of our drive along the far less touristy Amalfi green route, overlooking Capri. Also Lesley in our new amazing room again with a view to remember.
