Damselfly

I was just about to take my camera into the garden to find a blip for today when Guy showed me this damselfly which had come into the conservatory. It was probably attracted by the warmth and the bright pink flower.

Thank goodness it has not been quite so hot today, especially as I was making cakes for Saturday.

Latherus has kindly identified this as a male large red damselfly, pyrrhosoma nymphula.
