Baby Warbler & Looking UP!

Firstly, my main pic today is a sweet baby Butcherbird, who sat on my back veranda this morning, warbling away for quite some time, its lovely sounds echoing through the house. He just had to be my first choice today.

Tonight, looking towards the north western sky, husband spotted two large bright lights! I think they may be Venus and Jupiter; did anyone else see them? I took a couple of shots and have added the best of the two in "extras", along with a super-duper full moon, looking amazing in the eastern sky!

And I'm thinking of all of my friends and family in the UK tonight, we heard that London reached 36 degrees Celsius! That's a really hot day even by Australian standards, so I hope you are all coping okay. Drink plenty of water too. That's what is recommended here in the Land of Oz, and I do hope this heat-wave doesn't last too long. Take care. xx
