See that sky? Yes, another violent hail storm is about to hit us. It actually hurts when you are steering a narrow boat and can't escape!

But these guys are doing a great job re-building the buttresses to the retaining wall alongside the canal at Macclesfield. We go slowly by them. This sort of maintenance is a slow job when the only way you can get materials to the site is by boat.
