Auberge des Glycines
We went out for dinner to this little place in Taillebourg, right on the river Charente, and sat in the lovely courtyard, shaded by a huge wisteria. You can see my starter pictured, it was skate sliced thinly on tomato mush, surrounded by green oily stuff, and was very delicious!
Mr F had snails cooked in a tarragon cream sauce, served in a ramekin with a puff pastry top for his starter.
