Our 1st ripe tomato

A lovely day pottering about the garden. I finally planted up the new/vastly rockier rockery - another tick on the holiday to-do list.

G came over to meet the chickens and for a BBQ - typically the minute the BBQ comes out the showers started - thank god for outside canopies / sheltered areas for cooking and eating!

All rounded off by a midnight walk up in to the hills to watch the most spectacular lightening storm - there were hundreds of strikes across a huge area just seconds apart - it was AMAZING!
