The very last group of schoolchildren this year.

They were due to be in the library on the 10th of June, but couldn't make it. Two subsequent groups of children came to the library today to hear me read them a book, do a jigsaw puzzle together, sing a song and in the end read a book to themselves. I was feeling a bit anxious, it's nearing the end of the schoolyear and kids are more easily distracted now. These two groups (each 31 kids, very large groups of 4 and 5 year olds) were the sweetest ever! Interested and focused and eagerly participating. It was even fun for me to do!
