Purple Shades

These Chives are growing happily in my garden they are the smallest of the of the onion family and have numerous uses apart from their culinary one. Planted amongst borders they keep plants free from pests, the flowers attract bees which help pollination they are also rich in vitamins A and C, a very useful little herb to have around.
