Fan Girlin'

When Nova offered the opportunity for Shalyce to accompany the QLD Origin team on a trip to Proserpine this week, there was no hiding her excitement or despite her best efforts -her heritage: the Redcliffe NRL bogan was coming out loud and proud, she was more pumped than a Suncorp crowd during golden point.

Jersey in hand, nervously boarding her first ever private charter, chat was throwing so thick and fast with Nova's rep Ollie that they didn't even notice the team board the plane. That mistake couldn't be repeated once in Proserpine, as the entire town (plus some) came out to welcome and meet the team -  It was one crazy hour watching all the players summon their inner second row abilities, just to be able to progress down the main street.

Lunch allowed time for chat with the players and Dane Gagai was a stellar captain of our table, happily taking the attack in conversation with a few winning stories.

Post the coaching clinic it was finally time for autographs and photo's - in the dying minutes just before everyone boarded the plane,  Shalyce finally plucked up the courage and scored the above winning shot...

A huge thank-you to Nova for the once in a lifetime opportunity - Shalyce and her Dad's newly decorated jersey appreciated it. Go the Maroons!
