Swallowtails return

The Swallowtails really love these orange flowers in my garden. It is a year and a week since I arrived in Cape Breton. I remember being very excited to see Swallowtails in my garden - I did a large watercolour of one later in the year. This year there are lots of them - they gather in small puddles on the road - very unnerving to suddenly see a mass of them on the road and then have to swerve to miss them - they flutter away in a kind of beautiful tizzy.
