Sleepy bee

Today I sat in the botanic gardens and used colour charts to match the different colours of the Lathyrus I have taken photos of. It was very difficult - the colour either didn't look like any of the ones on the chart, looked like too many, or was too small to see (with nectar guide veins and bullseye patterns). 

As the weather was so lovely, there were many bees around. I had a couple rest on my legs and one even pollinated a flower whilst I was trying to colour match it! The bee in the photo refused to get off the chart for about 15 minutes, at which point I brushed it off and carried on colour matching!
