Coot D'Azur update.

Yesterday I promised you a photo from the top of Staples Hill - well, we went for our long ride but did not "do" Staples Hill! Despite setting off at 5.15am it was a hot ride!
I popped to the park when I got back, it was very quiet - I did not see a single deer. However, I sat and watched the coot and her baby on the Cote D'Azur. Now that the swan has vacated her side of the nest the coots have been able to spread out a bit, the chic  having it's own "room" now.
Whew, this heat has been something else - my excuse for a rather bland Blip!
