Hot in Hanoi

I'm pleased to have escaped the June winter gales for the high thirties and 100% humidity in Hanoi. I do love the warmth.

Staying here for a week for work, in the old quarter, which is full of hustle and bustle and will be interesting to explore when I get the chance.

Nothing to report today except I am tired and dishevelled and in my fatigued state I made the mistake of eating raw (but fermented) pork sticks as a bar snack. Tasty but an open invitation to tapeworms.

Can anyone also please confirm to me that whisky and orange juice is a legitimate drink? The woman next to me on the plane couldn't get enough of it.
