Morecambe

Visiting my cousins in Lancaster and we took advantage of the opportunity of a sunny Monday afternoon to drive over to Morecambe. A wander along the prom, ice-creams all round, out to the end of the pier and back and then drive back home as we were all going out for dinner that night.

I can think of worse ways to spend a day.

One can't visit Morecambe without visiting the statue of John Eric Bartholomew, better known by his stage name of Eric Morecambe after the town in which he was born.
