Lover of the Lakes

Out on my bike today and a shortcut through the cemetery where I spotted this headstone.  Unusual in that it had a coloured image of what I assume to be the artist's impression of the Lake District.  A typical Lakeland packhorse bridge, similar to Ashness, with the Lake beyond and a mountain skyline reminiscent of Skiddaw.  The figure with flatcap and dogs completes the tribute  : )
