Today is Summer

In the West of Scotland, the sun is shining ....AT LAST!  Not only that, but it is warm; no need for the extra layers; the windows can be opened; no need to resent Wimbledon crowds and their sunhats.

This is predicted to last until ---------------- this afternoon!  Seriously!

I usually miss this rose, Rhapsody in Blue  by Peter Beale, which saves its strongest flush of blooms until we are at the cottage: this year we are delighted to be delayed by a wedding invitation. Seeing the rose is a bonus.
