Blipper in the making

Little Miss arrived with Miss MB and Mr B last night at stupid o'clock. We finally got into bed just after one, and got up again at 8:30. I was impressed that there was minimal cajoling for Miss MB (hard for a 14 year old to get up before midday ...)

We left Christchurch (with a quick pitstop to get a bigger hire car!) and headed over Arthur's Pass, destination Franz Josef. This shot was taken during our first snow experience, which was quickly followed by a skating on a frozen lake experience (complete with soggy, cold foot for Little Miss and head bang for Miss MB! All okay though!).

On through Hokitika (without stopping) and arrived at FJ just before dark. We're in a nice little motel. Dinner and a glowworm walk planned for this evening. We're all pooped, so I don't think it'll be a crazy, late one.
