Three Leaves
I read in the Waikato newspaper that the keepers of the roses at the Hamilton Gardens were preparing to prune the 3,000 plus roses there so I thought I had better don my gloves and secateurs as well and do some pruning, especially since we had had all those good frosts last week to kill the bugs.
My afternoon was spent mainly at the doctor's surgery waiting to have a flu injection which took about 3 minutes when I finally had my turn followed by a trip to the library to get a good book and a few chores in town.
It is mid winter now...all the leaves have fallen and I think the nights are getting just a tiny bit longer.
