Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Tuesday again

Tuesdays are generally long, with little opportunity for taking photos.

Today, I worked a day shift, then had to dash up to a certain large DIY store to try (unsuccessfully) to match some varnish, before going on up to East Runton for my orchestra rehearsal.

No pictures taken by the time I got home at 11pm - so you get a photo of the poster for our next concert - maybe we get a bit of free publicity?

Vaughan Williams originally wrote The London Symphony in 1913, but subsequently revised it a number of times.  The version generally performed these days is the final version, published in 1933.  The version we are performing is the 1920 revision, which was already cut from the original version, but is longer than the final version. (That's a lot of versions in two sentences!)
