Marooned!

The talk of Arbroath tonight was this Dutch yacht which managed to ground itself on the rocks near to the harbour entrance. We were at the other end of town with the dogs and could see something not right so drove along to see. The dogs got a second walk down at the beach by the signal tower as we went down and took some photos. 2 very tired dogs later we went back up to the car and met half a dozen cars driving along the short road towards the parking. Normally you can be down on the beach there and only see that amount of cars arriving over the course of an hour!

Hopefully the yacht will be refloated later tonight when the tide comes back in again. Bet the boatyard will have at least some cosmetic repairs on the boat. Hope they are insured!
