Grand Circle

Not perhaps the most 'appropriate' photo of the day (see extras) but my favourite.  My brother and his girlfriend were both graduating so we had a mass double-family event, the first meeting of the parents.  This is Erika (with the hood!), mum and sisters, who had all come over from Sweden for the occasion.  Erika's parents both work in climate research and I discovered that her mother and I had a few analytical techniques in common, although her samples are ice cores from within the arctic circle, and she goes to collect them herself.  Not remotely jealous...
