Two bees
Here are, I think, a honey bee (top) and a carpenter bee (lower), both on the hypericum this morning. I am not very good at photographing bees because they are seldom still and their wings are going all the time, even when they are foraging.
My eyes are so much better than before this laser treatment, so thanks to all of you for your concern and good wishes. It all seems little short of a miracle to me.
Today and warm and supposedly sunny, but we have no blue sky on account of the smoke that has been carried south on the jet stream from the wildfires in Canada. We don't see smoke, but everything is hazy and absolutely no sky features at all. It must be grim further north where they really will be getting the smoke. It is amazing how far it can travel. It reminds me of the times that you get red Sahara dust in the UK.
Thank you so much for all the appreciation of yesterday's blip, which was very much a quickie!
